February-National Children’s Dental Health Month
A first visit to the dentist can be a frightful time for a child. During my time as a dentist we have perfected our first visit experiences for your child. We explain what we are doing while calming any nervousness. This has proven to help your child to have a positive experience.
I go over proper brushing techniques, flossing, and what to do after eating candy. I feel that if we keep your child well informed about good dental health; they will become better patients in adulthood.
Children's teeth are meant to last a lifetime, and a healthy smile is important to a child’s self-esteem. With proper care, a balanced diet and regular visits, their teeth can remain healthy. What better time to become an advocate for your child’s health than National Children's Dental Health Month.
